Maryam Mehboob (Pakistan)

I’m Maryam Mehboob. I’m a UPG champion based in Karachi, Pakistan. I’m a trainer and a development sector professional. My experience working closely with different movements around the World has taught me the importance of being an ‘ally.’ And now I’m initiating my own project that focuses on Allyship training for those who want to support causes they may not have direct experience with. The week-long training program at Hurricane Island is just the right opportunity at the right time to add momentum to my effort. You can be an ally and vote for me. Thank you.

Md Shahed Ahmed (Bangladesh)

My name is Md Shahed Ahmed and I am living in Bangladesh. I’m advocating for the rights of refugees and I’m passionate about SDG’s 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institution

Pragyan Bhattarai (Nepal)

Pragyan is an engineer and Co-founder of P&R Engineering consultancy and has worked in green building, earthquake-resistant building designing, and many such projects. He loves traveling, networking, and research. He has published more than 10 international papers and many newspapers articles to spread awareness and strongly believes in youth power.

Raja Tarun Reddy Masapeta (India)

I am Raja Tarun Reddy Masapeta, better known as Tarun Masapeta. I am from India and I am working on SDG’s 4 and 8. I educate people around the world on financial literacy for free.

Shanjeda Shahid Preety (Bangladesh)

I am Shanjeda, a UPG Sustainability Leader and I started my project after combating my mental trauma to help other people like me and to create awareness. Currently, I am working on social controversial issues which are related to mental health, gender equity, and youth empowerment. I want to be selected to go to Hurricane Island for intense leadership training to make myself more skilled in this and want to meet all the lovely selected young leaders there. So, I would love to request all the lovely people to support me through their votes so that I can get selected for this grand opportunity.
