Katongo Mulenga - UPG Champion
Katongo is a goal-oriented individual with a deep passion for helping the less privileged. She firmly believes in setting clear objectives and continuously strives to achieve them. Dedicated to personal growth, she spends her free time taking online courses to expand her knowledge.
Katongo holds a Bachelor of Laws from Zambian Open University, along with several certifications including Basic Prosecutions from the National Institute of Public Administration, Civic Leadership, Empathic Communication in Resettlement, Asylum, and Integration Settings, and Introduction to Child Protection. She is an alumna of the YALI RLC SA program, a member of the Moving Women Empowerment Network, and a certified United People Global Champion and Spark Fellow.
Her skills encompass drafting legal documents, effective communication, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiation, adaptability, legal advising, active listening, teamwork, confidentiality, knowledge of legal procedures, interviewing, ethics, and goal orientation. With over five years of work experience, including voluntary roles in NGOs and as a law intern, Katongo’s passion and ambition drive her to continuously become the best version of herself.
