Joining UPG is free for individuals and organisations who believe in our mission and this is possible because UPG’s funding comes through individuals and organisations who make an additional commitment to contribute to building this community for the people. As a Builder in this early phase of the Community, we are also building your place in our story.

Give a Donation

Donations are a generous contribution to UPG’s work and they are not tied to any demands by the individual or organisation that is donating – other than that UPG continues its work. UPG commits 99% of amounts that are received as donations to go directly to supporting UPG activities. Only 1% of donations support UPG’s non-activity administrative costs, including the costs involved with processing donations.

Give a Grant

Grants provide financial support for UPG to conduct specific activities or to have an impact on specific thematic issues. Typically grants support activities or issues that the person or the organisation that is giving the grant really cares about. These funds are only used for the specific purpose. The financial size of a grant varies.
