Rohit Nayak is a globally recognized climate leader and the Head of Product at Beacon Climate Innovation, where he is spearheading efforts to mainstream Distributed Energy Resources and empower communities to take ownership of their energy systems.
His work focuses on decentralizing energy, enhancing local resilience, and promoting sustainable practices. As a Climate Reality Leader and Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) fellow, Rohit is dedicated to fostering impactful climate solutions that align with community needs and global sustainability goals.
Rohit has actively led conversations on the importance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and 3 (Good Health and Well-being) at several prominent global platforms, including the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos (2016), the International Festival for Business in Liverpool, UK (2017), and WEF in Dalian, China (2016).
