Dear Entrepreneur, thank you for considering the Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant. The Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant is a USD 130,000 partnership between Diamonds Do Good® and United People Global that provides financial support and business expertise to promising entrepreneurs. The grant sizes range between USD 5,000 and USD 20,000.
This grant is only open to UPG Biashara Entrepreneurs.
Selection Criteria / What we are looking for:
1 - The strength of the specific business/business IDEA2 - The potential impact of the business/business IDEA3 - Entrepreneurial Acumen of the potential Winner of the Grant4 - The potential impact of the Grant on the business5 - The potential for the business solution to be ‘do-able’ and scalable6 - The impact of the business/idea on the relevant business sector
A. I understand that the decision to award the Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant is made by Diamonds Do Good® and any individuals or organisations that it delegates some or all of the responsibility. I also understand that this decision is final and that there is no recourse to appeal this decision.
B. I understand and I accept that the information that I submit as part of this application will be accessed by Diamonds Do Good® for the purposes of assessing all applicants and supporting the process of awarding the Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant.
C. I understand and I accept that as part of the evaluation process I may be required to participate in additional ways which will include: i) pitch sessions where I present my business/business idea ii) additional requests for information
D. I understand and I accept that as an applicant my image and my profile may be published as part of generating support for applicants for the Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant.
E. I understand and I accept that if I am awarded a Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant then I will be required to participate in campaigns that boost my profile and the profile of my business and the profile of the Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant.
F. I understand and I accept that any FALSE information that is provided will lead to disqualification of my application.
G. I understand and I accept that if I am selected, then I may be required to make additional commitments related to the use of the funds (i.e. that the funds must be used specifically for the business/business idea) and related to providing updates/reporting about the business activities.
