Yes! That is really who you are!

I am an entrepreneurial leader with a profound commitment to sustainability and social impact, grounded in both academic and practical experience. With a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Project Management, my thesis on Green Sustainable Project Management (GPM) within the software industry reflects my dedication to blending environmental responsibility with business objectives. My focus on Agile methodologies and GPM, demonstrates my drive to create scalable, sustainable solutions in tech. As a President of Project Pole at Club 3Zero, I led initiatives focusing on Zero Poverty, Zero Exclusion, and Zero Carbon. Under my leadership, our pitch team won recognition for the Best Innovative Solution at a national competition, reinforcing my ability to drive impactful, solution-oriented projects. My experience extends beyond the classroom, having actively participated in international initiatives such as the i4dE International Competition, where I proposed sustainable solutions to water scarcity in Tunisia, and the One Million Leaders (OML) Climate Fellowship, which focuses on fostering leadership in climate action. Through OML, I gained invaluable insights into addressing climate change at both local and global levels and prepared to pitch a sustainable business idea centered on water scarcity. I am also an alumnus of the Nelis Transformative Champion Fellowship for climate change leadership, where I honed my skills in leading change in environmental advocacy and sustainability. This experience deepened my understanding of how to mobilize communities for large-scale environmental impact, complementing my work on the NetZero Tounsi project—an innovative platform designed to empower individuals to contribute to carbon removal through ecosystem restoration. Moreover, my role as coordinator for the Tunisian League of Human Rights, has reinforced my commitment to social justice and human rights. These roles have shaped my leadership style, allowing me to develop comprehensive solutions that merge community development with sustainable practices.Having developed leadership skills through hands-on experience and participation in prestigious programs like the 1000 Challenge School, I now seek to expand my global impact as a UPG Sustainability Leader. I am eager to collaborate with like-minded changemakers worldwide, continuing my journey of creating positive, lasting solutions for a sustainable future.

My passion for sustainability is not just an ambition; it is the compass that guides my actions and drives my purpose. I possess a dynamic combination of skills that make me a capable and impactful leader in this field. As a seasoned public speaker and experienced pitch presenter, I know how to transform complex sustainability concepts into compelling narratives that inspire action and engagement. My communication abilities go beyond mere words; I excel at connecting with people, fostering collaboration, and creating spaces where diverse voices can come together to address pressing environmental challenges. My analytical mind and creative approach enable me to break down problems, identify opportunities, and craft innovative solutions tailored to specific contexts. Whether it’s developing climate-focused initiatives like NetZero Tounsi or mentoring teams during sustainability hackathons, I thrive in environments that demand both strategic thinking and out-of-the-box innovation. These strengths, paired with my dedication to empowering others, allow me to galvanize teams toward measurable impact. What sets me apart is my belief in the power of collective action and my ability to channel that belief into tangible outcomes. My ability to analyze situations, present ideas effectively, and spark innovative projects is further amplified by my adaptability and cultural sensitivity, honed through diverse experiences in civil society. By blending communication, analysis, creativity, and a deep-rooted passion for environmental justice, I am confident in my ability to contribute meaningfully to UPG’s mission. Being part of this program would not only allow me to refine my leadership abilities but also provide the platform to amplify my impact and inspire others. Sustainability is not just a professional goal for me—it is a personal calling to create change, empower communities, and shape a future where equity and environmental stewardship thrive in harmony.

One of my greatest strengths is creativity and innovation, and I have applied this to address complex sustainability challenges. A pivotal example of this was during my work on the NetZero Tounsi project, where I was tasked with developing a green web application aimed at combating climate change through carbon removal via ecosystem restoration. The concept itself was innovative—using technology to connect individuals directly with sustainable projects—but it required out-of-the-box thinking to turn this idea into something that would truly resonate with people and make an impact.

Drawing from my creative problem-solving skills, I designed a user-friendly platform that not only estimated the number of trees needed to offset an individual’s carbon emissions but also provided various subscription plans, empowering users to contribute to long-term ecosystem restoration efforts. This innovation was grounded in both the technical and social aspects of sustainability, integrating real-world action with digital tools to make a measurable impact on climate change.

The success of the project was a result of applying creative thinking to combine sustainability goals with user-centric design, making sustainability accessible and engaging. This experience highlighted how creativity and innovation can transform abstract sustainability concepts into concrete, actionable solutions that inspire change on both an individual and collective level. Through projects like NetZero Tounsi, I have seen firsthand how creative ideas can spark sustainable transformations, and as a UPG Sustainability Leader, I am committed to continuing to drive change by applying innovative solutions to today’s environmental challenges.

yes, I have actively volunteered with the Red Crescent, Cultural Club Ali Belhouan (CCAB), the Tunisian League of Human Rights (LTDH), and Club 3Zero. With the Red Crescent, I assisted with humanitarian aid and health campaigns. At CCAB, I participated in community-focused cultural programs, and at LTDH, I supported human rights advocacy. Through Club 3Zero, I engaged in sustainability-focused events. These experiences taught me the power of community-driven action, honed my leadership and public speaking skills, and deepened my understanding of social and environmental issues, reinforcing my belief in collective action for lasting positive changes

Graduate: I have completed a graduate degree (e.g. I have a Masters degree or PhD)

If I were to lead a sustainability-related project in my community, I would initiate a local sustainability education and action campaign focused on waste reduction, renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture. This project would aim to engage local schools, businesses, and residents in adopting practical, eco-friendly habits through workshops, hands-on activities, and community-led initiatives.
The project would encourage waste minimization strategies like composting, recycling, and reducing plastic use, while promoting renewable energy options such as solar power. In addition, it would integrate urban farming and green initiatives to strengthen food security and reduce the carbon footprint of imported goods. By involving a broad range of stakeholders, from youth to local businesses, we can create a network of sustainability champions committed to long-term change. This aligns with my belief that sustainability is a collective mission that thrives when individuals and organizations collaborate to foster resilience and sustainable growth.

Leading a sustainability project in my community would undoubtedly come with its set of challenges, but they’re challenges that I’m excited to take on. One of the biggest obstacles would likely be getting people on board, especially those who are unaware of or hesitant about adopting sustainable practices. It’s not always easy to change mindsets, especially when it comes to something as impactful as sustainability. To overcome this, I’d focus on engaging storytelling and practical workshops, showing people how simple actions can make a difference. I believe when people see the direct impact of their actions, they become more motivated to get involved.
Another hurdle would be finding enough resources—both in terms of funding and materials. I know this would require building strong partnerships with local businesses, schools, and even governments who share the same values. By approaching potential sponsors with clear, tangible outcomes, I’m confident we could secure the support needed to bring the project to life.
Lastly, I anticipate that some community members may resist the changes, whether due to unfamiliarity with sustainable practices or simply because habits are hard to break. To navigate this, I would focus on creating a sense of shared ownership. The key is to make it clear that sustainability isn’t just a trend, it’s a shared responsibility that benefits everyone in the long run. By listening, addressing concerns, and providing continuous support, I believe we can create a sustainable future together, one small action at a time.
