I’m Amira Salisu Alhassan
A Human Resource Management and Information Studies Student at the University Of Ghana…I love humanitarian work a lot and so far,I have things going on just as I planned to in terms of my life and career.

A Critical And Logical Thinker ,Good Communication Skill,Very Disciplined, Problem Solver

I chose communication skill.
So about 3 months ago,I had a group work with my course mates and there was a fight amongst members of my team…Mary (a group member) developed a point for our assignment and Nate (a group member) didn’t buy the idea so it resulted into a heated argument.
I had to step in and speak to both parties with a calm voice, explaining encoding and decoding under communication skills for them to understand each other and it worked perfectly
When encoding a message, you do it per your point and understanding and similarity the one decoding the message does it to his or her understanding so in such situations, we need to be calm in our approach so we don’t end up fighting each other over trivial matters.

I was once a volunteer for an event
I had to bring out all of my planning, Organization, leading and control skill in other to achieve the targeted goal
Through this I learnt to be more patient and focused

Undergraduate: I have completed an undergraduate degree

I would support mothers that hawk in traffic by empowering them with vocational skills
I get filled with tears in my eyes each time I come across the less privileged, it breaks my heart to see people struggling to survive, i break down knowing there are kids out there hawking in traffic with their mothers instead of being in school and the are kids who only survive on a bowl of food in a day so if am able to empower the mothers vocationally, they will have a fund generating business to help enroll their kids in school

And here is how I expect to overcome these challenges:
I will have to get some financial support through fund raising
I will have to plan my study guide in other not to fall from grace regarding my school grades in the process of helping the needy.
